Pocket Network Announces Winter 2025 Batch: Empowering The Next Generation of Builders on Shannon 

We’re beyond excited to announce the six incredible teams joining the Pocket Gateway Accelerator Program (PGAT) Winter 2025 Cohort. These six talented teams have been selected to define the next era of decentralized gateways, powered by the transformative Shannon Upgrade on the Pocket Network.

Reppo Labs
Reppo is building a Data-AI Coordination Network, enabling data owners and AI agents to collaborate permissionlessly. Reppo’s gateway will integrate secure, scalable data pipelines using Shannon’s permissionless gateways for seamless interaction between data owners and AI agents.

Verve AI
Verve is an AI-powered research platform that transforms raw on-chain data into actionable insights for institutions and portfolio managers. Leveraging Shannon’s decentralized demand-side infrastructure, Verve is building a gateway optimized for high-frequency and low latency data retrieval across major DeFi chains using Shannon’s infrastructure

SwanBlocks
SwanBlocks is an AI Agent backend and tooling platform that helps businesses connect with the blockchain in minutes and automate in seconds. Using Shannon, SwanBlocks is pioneering a user-friendly gateway for clients to perform their operations, whether query transactions, moving digital assets, and much more.

Developer DAO Cloud (D_D Cloud)
Developer DAO Cloud (D_D Cloud)’s project specializes in high-performance decentralized infrastructure tailored for onchain projects. With Shannon’s expanded scalability and interoperability, they are building a robust gateway for on-chain products that empowers developer teams across ecosystems to tap into infrastructure like decentralised storage networks. 

Pattern
Pattern is a decentralized agentic RAG framework that enables builders to retrieve real-time on-chain and off-chain data from the blockchain for their agents. Pattern is creating a gateway to support agentic systems with an Agentic RAG Gateway.

Vistia
Vistia is an AI-driven platform that creates trading bots fueled by decentralized data signals. Vistia is building social gateways to unlock new insights from decentralized social platforms and providing real-time market intelligence tools.

The Shannon Upgrade: Why It Matters for Builders

The Shannon Upgrade, named in tribute to Claude Shannon, the pioneer of information theory, forms the bedrock of this batch’s innovations, introducing a suite of powerful new features to Pocket Network for builders which includes:

Permissionless Gateways: Shannon enables builders to tap into open data flows freely and reliably across applications, businesses, and communities. This means developers can now access a broad spectrum of data through decentralized means, not limited to blockchain but extending to other data types and protocols.

Open Data: Beyond just blockchains, Shannon empowers the network to serve as a generalized data transport layer, facilitating the transmission of various data types with the same reliability and decentralization that Pocket Network has provided for blockchain data. 

This includes:

  • Foundational Models (LLMs): Support for accessing large language models through decentralized infrastructure. Builders can now develop applications that interact with LLMs like DeepSeek without reliance on centralized APIs, enhancing privacy and reducing single points of failure.
  • Privacy Protocols: Integration of privacy-focused technologies such as encrypted communication, decentralized identity systems, or zero-knowledge proofs, allowing applications to offer enhanced privacy features to users.
  • Social Protocols: Facilitating decentralized social media or communication platforms where data and interactions occur without centralized control, promoting user sovereignty over their digital interactions.
